Title: exhaust note with using baffles? Post by: gitter on August 17, 2012, 07:27:01 PM long story short, with no baffles in fresco slip ons the bike sounds amazing but there is a noticeable flat spot right off of idle. I cut the baffles down half way and the flat spot is gone, however the exhaust note has changed significantly. The volume is fine, but there is a very apparent "puffing" sounds, almost like an exhaust leak would sound. Is there any way to keep the crisp sound of open mufflers while still using the baffles?
