Title: 696 single sided swingarm Mod
Post by: repsolracer22 on August 21, 2012, 06:16:25 AM
Ive done some reseach so far on this and people seem to feel like that monster 1100 swingarm with a hyper rear wheel works well.

what about a 796 single sided swingarm? wouldn't that work well? and you could use the entire rear end off the 796 ........ right?

1100 and 796 swingarm are idential i believe. and the rear wheel of a hyper is the same as the newer monsters too.

Would work.  Like He Man said, Hyper rear wheel will fit (as will 848).

If you could find a complete 796 rear end then yup, I believe you're right it would work.

BTW, just in case you are vertically challenged like me, I believe the SSS will make your 696 about an inch taller.
