Post by: TitanMonsterS4R on August 25, 2012, 04:49:28 AM
Was giving the bike the once over last night after bringing her back from Indianapolis and noticed something odd.  The rubber mounts that hold the oil cooler to the engine have come loose. ???  Anyone have FHE with this and know how to remedy the situation?  Is there a type of glue i can buy to readhese to the engine??

Bike: 2006 S2R800
Mileage:  14K

I've used JB weld to repair those. I've also used 3M weatherstrip adhesive.

Buy new mounts from the Dealer.  They are not expensive.

on my bike (00' m750) the rubber stud things that retain the speedo in the housing have come apart. they are designed almost identically to the oil cooler mounts. sometimes they just come apart. buy new ones
