Picked up a used Sierra 2500hd. It has a really nice cap on it set up for a carpenter. It's too nice to fill up with concrete shit, so I'm thinking about selling it. My problem is I have no idea what it's worth. A couple of guys I know think around $2,700 just a guess. Anyone have a clue what it's worth? I don't even know what make it is. The only markings that I've seen say Warn on the locks of the boxes. Here is some pics.

$100 bucks... [laugh] [laugh] [laugh] [laugh]
$125
kind of looks like it was originally intended to sit on a utility body? regardless, it is nice, and if that's one of those slide out trays in the bed...nicer still
however, its probably not going to be worth a whole lot, unless you find just the right buyer, with the right color truck, etc...
$1800-2200

When can I expect you? ;D
Looks like a decent topper, if it were white you could get more I bet, the problem will be finding a buyer with the right color pick up with the right length bed. I would put it in the $1,500-$2,000 range IMO.
edit: I should read first, almost the exact same post as herm
Ive had a longtime CL search for a Leer or ARE cap for my dark blue, 2006 Silverado HD. If yours was a regular style fiberglass cap with side windows, we'd be talking.
Its a nice cap. Tough color. Think youll be lucky to get a G. Unless theres a blue trucked carpenter nearby.

I don't think it's blue...
I think it's graphite gray...
I saw a "cap guy" today he was impressed. He said it was more heavy duty than anything he sells. He was on the same page with you guys 1500-2000. Also said it was a popular color around here GMC calls it stealth gray and Chevy calls it granite blue.
I'm having second thoughts on selling it. The behemoth is growing on me.
