Post by: Nero-92 on September 16, 2012, 04:01:09 PM
If I raise the rear hight on the duc it will shorten the wheel base and quicken the steering but will it efect the brake performance or anything else any imput would be much appreciated.

It isn't so much the wheelbase that affects the handling as it is the change in steering angle. You can reduce the effect by dropping the tubes in the triples if they're sticking up.

It won't affect braking.

Just please don't do it by adding preload. Use the ride height rod.

I'm going to use the ride height rod and the reason I'm raising the height is clearance issues on left hand bends the side stand keeps grinding of the road.
