I've been wanting to get out and try some of the roads that are listed on a map I got from madmaps.com; today was finally the day. My M800, an S4R, and a Honda Hawk.
We started out on the interstate to get to our starting point. Then is was a varied mix of 2 lane highway, 2 lane country roads, and even more.
I missed the road we were aiming for, so ended up on some very small, very 'middle of nowhere' roads in Southern Indiana. One of them dropped us onto this bridge; I haven't seen a wooden deck bridge in years.

Then came the 'and even more'..... the far side of the bridge was about 1/2 mile of gravel road; and fresh looking gravel at that. No mishaps though.
After lunch in Bedford, we turned on 450. Very nice road. Other than some gravel washed out by the recent rains, it was great. I don't think we had any other traffic going our way; and very little coming towards us.
It never rained, some good roads, and everyone involved got back home in one piece and on time. So a good weekend for all.
sounds like a nice ride [moto]
this old covered bridge is not far from my house,
i ride over it often, it also has a wooden deck.
it was built in 1841.
it's fun to rev the engine when you go over it [evil]
