Title: Complete removal of passenger seat. Pics anyone? Post by: memper on September 26, 2012, 06:19:40 PM I have some good pics of Celli's bike and one other army green one but anyone have pics or links to someone who has done this bob? I plan to do it over the winter but would like some ideas about cleaning up the frame after the cut as well as seat solutions. Tanks..

Post by: RBX QB on September 26, 2012, 10:46:43 PM have you seen this? ... My eyes are bleeding. Looks like a seat off a HD. I've seen a clean mod of the existing seat pan, but I have no idea where I saw it... or when. Title: Re: Complete removal of passenger seat. Pics anyone? LOL!!! Mine too. I found that pic in my hard drive. Not exactly sure why I saved it. Its pretty fugly in my opinion, but I just wanted to give the OP an ugly idea not too chop his subframe. Don't think this is the one I remember... this is from the ducatimonster dot org site... but it's similar (cut existing seat pan). I think this was it... same site... Title: Re: Complete removal of passenger seat. Pics anyone? Post by: Stormtrooper on October 10, 2012, 10:02:08 AM I love the chopped tail look but there needs to be balance in the exhaust length. That last one looks nice, but could shorten the exhaust a bit

I am also in to this tail chop project. I kinda like the one seat version better. If you could post more pix that would be great help for my project . I'd like to use the Xg1 exhaust from danmoto "its not too long" http://www.dan-moto.com/DM_US/ducati-monster-xg-1-product-754.html (http://www.dan-moto.com/DM_US/ducati-monster-xg-1-product-754.html) with a single seat. I do have a few pictures but I do not know how to post them it just wont work (http://) Title: Re: Complete removal of passenger seat. Pics anyone? Then a small front windscreen.... would be about perfect [thumbsup] I guess you'd have a SF'er!!! |
