Title: starting issue on an m900 - 2002
Post by: muskrat on October 14, 2012, 04:56:26 PM
Ok so the guy who bought my M900 has started having trouble with the bike yesterday.
Here's what has happened:
the LED light above the rubber buttons on the dash starting flashing yellow (once then dark) which indicates no code stored according to what I've read.  I just had the ECU/Cluster re-flashed by SOS to put the immobilizer back on the bike as the purchaser requested.  I started the bike here twice and ran it for over 5 minutes after installing the cluster and ECU back on with both black keys.  I mentioned to use the red key and re-program the unit again which he did and still same problem.  It appears to click but not turn over.  The only thing I can think of is there is a problem with a stored or erased code.  Until yesterday this has NEVER happened and this is a reason I remove the immobilizer on all my Ducs.  [evil]  He mentioned he had an idling problem and it stalled but I wasn't there so I am either thinking bad gas or he's not yet accustomed to the engine warming, fast idle and so on.

Any ideas on what may be the problem guys?

I would call SOS and see if they can help.
