Title: Moving a thread from there to here? Post by: mostrobelle on May 06, 2008, 10:43:26 PM Can one of you tech geniuses tell me how I might move/copy wholesale a thread that was posted on the DML? I'd like to get Tigre's AMA thread on here. I'd rather not try to monitor it in two places. I can probably figure something out, but I'm hoping there's a quick fix for me.

From what I understand is that there is an easy way to do this IF you have access to the dml back-end. If not, then you are basically stuck doing a copy/paste for bit of text you want.

I'll direct potential helpers to come here to check the thread from now on. Unfortunately I'm unable to modify my first post (f*ckers...) to let people know that. I will continue to check over there and p.m. peeps as needed to spread the word. Once again, I can't express my gratitude enough for all the folks to who had the foresight to set this new site up. The old DML is horrible now. :-X I'm so glad that we have this place. wt:
