Title: CNC fork collars Post by: hunduc on November 20, 2012, 11:55:36 AM I was looking around for pics of these when I was planning my next mod, and I did not really find any which showed how the headlight bracket is attached. So I decided to snap some pics now, it might help others when contemplating options for headlight and gauge lowering etc. Ordered them from Bellissimoto; great service. You can see on the pics that there is a hole on the inside where the OEM headlight bracket attaches easily with the original bolts, with the aid of those little black rings. I am not done with the front yet; still thinking about a dual headlight. Gauges will be lowered below the triple. Pics:

Really cleans up the headlight area a ton I had to manually copy this URL to my broswwer for some reason, if this is the correct link, very sanitary [thumbsup]http://www.flickr.com/photos/59487174@N08/6573021309/#lightbox/ (http://www.flickr.com/photos/59487174@N08/6573021309/#lightbox/) Are the forks, triples, brackets, etc. wrapped, painted, PC or anodized? Nice rich uniform black on all the pieces in the photo. Really cleans up the headlight area a ton What kind of reservoirs are those on the 999 masters? I'm a fan of the triangle coffin style over the remote pee cups anyway, but those look slick as all hell. (http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7011/6573021309_c95ebe9ec9_z.jpg) /threadjack I actually fabbed my own as well, but they're pretty jank by comparison so you don't get to see them :) Title: Re: CNC fork collars Post by: uglyducky on November 26, 2012, 10:28:50 PM What kind of reservoirs are those on the 999 masters? Here's my home made jobber.

Title: Re: CNC fork collars Post by: Jarvicious on November 27, 2012, 03:16:37 PM Yep. I didn't clean up the cut marks, but it's really difficult to see while it's on the bike.
Title: Re: CNC fork collars Post by: hunduc on November 27, 2012, 05:27:27 PM I think I will do the same. Looks good.
