Title: 2009 M1100s Ohlins fork seals?
Post by: ungeheuer on December 04, 2012, 05:00:02 PM
A little help required please....

Anybody able to tell me where I can source replacement fork seals (either OEM or aftermarket) for the Ohlins front end on my 09 M1100s?

Not even having any luck with the necessary part number as the M1100s parts manual simply lists the entire assembly as "ohlins fork leg".  Nice  [roll].

TIA

My understanding is that an Ohlins fork is...like every Ohlins fork...

buy a seal for whatever diameter fork you have and it should be the ticket.

That will probably work, but I think you can do better on price.

Thanks fellas - I should be able to track something down from one of 'em places.  I'm inclined to go aftermarket coz OEM didnt exactly stand up to the test of (not much) time.

Ohlins forks are notoriously hard on seals , keep a spare set
