Some guy from Texas is trying to get the Lane Splitting bill to be introduced again and hopefully passed this time.
I do not know if these on-line petitions work but I have signed it.

I will keep hope alive, but I would be very surprised if it goes anywhere....
I try it most days.
Seems to work pretty good! [thumbsup]

Sure don't have the need out here in the country; these county roads are too narrow :P
Amost everything out here is a big truck anyway.
The way this bill bounces around the legislature would be humorous except for the realization that those yokels are being paid by my tax dollars. It is introduced in the Senate, passes, then dies in the House. Next session it is introduced in the House, passes, then dies in the Senate. Next session it is introduced in the Senate, passes, then dies in the House. Rinse repeat.

Taxation without (true) representation?
There have been arguments over this sort of thing.
I watched a show about San Paolo Brazil. Severe traffic congestion and lane splitting out the yin yang. It looked pretty efficient and a good reason to moto in the city.
Do we have a lobby pushing against splitting here or what? ???
Nope. They meet once every two years so you'll have to wait 6-10 before its done
