Title: S2R Instrument Panel swap with new digital 696 panel Post by: hawangatang on December 12, 2012, 10:30:43 PM I was wondering if it's possible to swap a brand new digital panel from a 696 or whatever to my S2R. My tachometer is broken and my mechanic told me the thing is "non-serviceable"... I saw a tutorial on how to open it up so I may try and fix it.

Is there an engine speed sensor anywhere on the bike? ??? The ECU is getting proper info because the bike runs. Check your connections at from the ECU to the tach, if you have the owner's manual there is a wiring diagram in the back. If not, go here http://www.ducati.com/services/maintenance/index.do (http://www.ducati.com/services/maintenance/index.do) and download one for your bike.

BODY 9 (TACHOUT) and it's a Green wire. So. Where is Body 9 located? BODY 9 is pin 9 on the body connector.
