Meet at the Starbucks/Jims at Blanco and Loop 1604, ready for breakfast at Jim's or Taco Cabana at 9, ready to ride at 10. Will be in Luckenbach at noon. Great tradition to maintain, because if you can ride well on the first day of the year, you can probably ride well all year. p.s. I may not be able to make this ride, but I thought some of you might be interested. It is called Blessing of the Bikes. Details are below. The leader of the group leaving from Bill Millers is Gary Carpenter. We will meet at the Bill Millers on Bitters and 281 at 8:30 for breakfast and fellowship and a devotional. Kickstands up will be 9:30am and we will go directly to Javalina Harley for the Blessing of the Bikes. There will probably be over 1000 motorcycles if it is like years past. I will then lead us up the Old No. 9 road to Alamo Springs Café for lunch. After lunch I will continue to lead us through Luckenbach and Kendalia then down Edge Falls Road to Highway 46 where the ride will end at Valero on 46 and 3351. The ride from Bill Millers on Bitters and 281 to the Blessing takes about 30 minutes. We get there about 10:00am. The Blessing of the Bikes 2013 takes place at Javelina Harley Davidson at 29078 Interstate 10, Boerne, TX 78006 (830) 755-5208 - Jan 1, 2013.
