Title: Looking for good HID H4 bulb Post by: Speeddog on January 13, 2013, 01:24:09 PM Got one of the inexpensive HID H4 kits.
Light output is fantastic. Beam pattern is atrocious. I don't need to see the treetops, nor spot low-flying aircraft. I'd like to have all that light that's wasted directed at the road. The optics of an H4 headlight do not match the beam from a true HID. Could it be done? Probably, moving the arc and focal length might work. Or you could do something like He Man did. I wasn't successful at the search...BINGO! Found it on his web site.
