Title: Rear Cowl Fitment - 695 Post by: Dwardle on January 18, 2013, 01:46:36 PM So my project is coming along quite well due to all the help i've received from the forum. I got the Ducabike rearsets on with the new pressure banjo as suggested and it works great! Everything's put back together except for the exhaust tips which are enroute so I can take it to go get painted...
One last question though, I bought a rear cowl... which I didn't read carefully and it's cracked... but it seems to be an EXTREMELY tight fit. To get the bolts to line up I have to squish my seat padding down to squeeze it over far enough. This puts a lot of stress on the crack so I'm concerned it will be hard to repair for the body shop. Does anyone with a cowl have this tight of a fit on their seat?
