Title: 696 core issue Post by: fletch696 on January 18, 2013, 02:42:43 PM So I'm trying to core the cans on an '09 696. ran into a small issue right at the start. I can't get the outer sleeve off. I've tried the mallet, BP blaster, and heat. it is currently 20F in the garage is this part of the issue. should I bring the cans in and let them warm up to room temp then try the hammer again?
