Title: Pickup coil compatibility
Post by: Streetfighterkz on January 24, 2013, 11:00:00 AM
Hey,

I'm pretty sure that my pickup coil(s) is going bad on my '99 M900.  I'm working with a member on here to buy one used but it's from a '98 M750.  I tried researching and found that the '00 M750 uses a p/n 260.1.001.1A but I can't find any older fiche's than 2000.  I tried calling my local dealership but they were less than useless.  [bang]

So can anyone tell me if the '98 M750 and the '99 M900 use the same part number as the '00 M750?

Thanks.

Later, Doug

I'm pretty sure they're the same.

Ducati Seattle or Ducati Omaha should be able to tell you for sure.

Having worked with some '98-'99 carbed 3-phase motors a few times in that arena:  Yes, they will swap.
