Title: Clutch at 10k miles
Post by: chipripper on February 03, 2013, 12:29:15 PM
Haven't been here for a while. School, life, etc. getting in the way of Moto fun. Anyway I thought I would share some pics of my clutch basket at 10k miles. My question is should I sand off the burrs in the basket before installing the new pack?

Thanks and happy superbowl (if your out riding watch out for drunks)

You might want to clean them up on the inside diameter, but don't sand the notches on the legs.

It will cause the tabs on the plates to wear even faster.

Thanks Ducpainter. That's exactly what I meant. (the inside edge, not the notches). can't wait to get back on the road. we are starting summer early in San Diego this year!

I agree with DP. It looks pretty normal.

Let 'em wear a bit so you can get the full tambourine. [thumbsup]
