Title: External mic on the monster
Post by: Dockstrada on July 02, 2008, 01:00:05 AM
Ok so I fitted a mic on the monster sound is excellent but I F#*Ked the picture some how I think it had something to do with the focus and stab control, not fused it’s just a sound test.

Yeh I felt a bit sick my self the back stepped out on me that’s why I ended up in the center lane . Just need to adjust the cam up a little and re set the settings for the bike .I have been filming the kids so other settings fro those occasions .

Sounds great, where'd you get the mic and for how much.
I think I might get a camera in the next week or so.
Got time to start a rear facing camera mount project.

cheers
Matty...

Yeah it was. I'm thinking about doing it from the grab rail.
Would mean there is no need to drill a seat cowl and it could go on other bikes...
What-ya-think?.

That's the best sound I've heard on a video yet - nice and clear. Nice pipes!

Maybe the camera was having trouble focusing because of the very low light? I've seen it happen before.

I'm looking forward to seeing how a day time vid looks and sounds.  [thumbsup]

there has been one at night already, you can find it on youtube just search Oz Monsters.
It was a shortish evening ride and focus wasn't a problem nor was the night time lighting.

Yap, I remember watching that. If it's not the light, must be a gremlin :D

Sounds good Dock. I wouldn't mind a mic on my bike, I'd like to hear all the tweety birds.

But the video wouldn't be worth it, I think Miss Daisy's first name was Betty .... and a rear facing camera would be no good 'cos there is never anyone behind me.
