Howdi All,

Just wondering if i could get any advice regarding replacement Carbies and an Air filter for my monster. i am after mainly a performance increase etc, but i was wondering if there were any monster owners from Sydney (Australia) who know of places that have tunes their bikes etc? Also after experiences from any other Monster owners in regards to brands/models of replacement parts etc

Any advice would b greatly appreciated

I think the general consensus is that replacing your carbs with Keihin FCR's and modifying your airbox by cutting off the top and dropping in a K&N air filter provides the best results. Everyone has their own opinions though. Some people argue pod filters instead of the full air box, but others argue that that causes issue when you have cross wind. There are plenty of threads on modifying the air box. Also, Keihin's are pricey, so a cheaper alternative is rejetting your stock carbs.
