Title: machining a stock flywheel Post by: ollie on February 09, 2013, 09:04:41 PM I'm keen to get a lighter flywheel for my 2005 620. I've heard that a machined stock wheel is pref errable over an alumin aftermarket unit.
Two questions: Are flywheels model specific, I'm going to try and find a used one on eBay, does it need to have come off a 620, or will other wheels fit also? I will get a local machine shop to turn it down, has anyone got the required dimensions to slim it down to? Are they model specific? Title: Re: machining a stock flywheel Post by: brad black on February 10, 2013, 04:39:39 AM only 749 and 999 are different afaik. they have a small oil squirting hole to spray the alt stator

It isnt all that bad.
