I'm sorry, but did you say something?  I was too busy punching myself in the face with the brick to notice.
Not to worry.  Come race time, Douchebrizio will take a rock chip to the fairing and have to pit to get his Ape detailed.  Or he'll just Pedrolenzo himself.*
* Pedrolenzo -- verb.  1.  to spectacularly launch yourself into orbit and have pictures of it haunt you across the internet .   Origin:  from the words Lorenzo and Pedrosa.

IIRC, he wasn't very wild about the bike.

Concussion and staying overnight in hospital. Next round is not for over a month, so he has sufficient time to recover.
The Apes again looking like they brought the gun to a knife fight. I wonder what would happen if you put MotoGP tires on those things. If Aprilia would just run these instead of the ART bikes, would they be more competitive?
Great job by Melandri to ruin the all Ape party in race 2.

I kinda like the fact that Ducati tried to approach the task in a different manner than Honda and Yamaha.
The same as I like the way Ducati builds their road bikes different than the UJM's.
The fact that it didn't work on GP spec tires doesn't mean it won't work on the SBK Pirelli's.
You should sell your Ducs and get a Honda.

Yeah...that pic isn't of the crash in the race. Can't find any of his practice crash specifically but that may be where it's from...

I believe it was a test crash.
Melandri started complaining until he saw Checa laying there.

Same concept, but you can't question they are different bikes.  Besides, Checa took pole 1.4 seconds faster than the GP Ducati took pole from the race last year.  Different surface, but 1.4 seconds faster than the prototype series bike highlights the success of one design and failure of the other.  I wouldn't throw the street version under the bus just yet.
