Yes, it would be nice to have a dial type speedometer instead of a LCD numeric display, then you can read the speed via peripheral vision and not have to look down and refocus. Some folks had said that you should just memorize which gear / rpm combination puts you in which speed range. I would argue that this method will not hold up in court when contesting a ticket. Others have said that while on a track, you don't even use the speedometer, you put tape over it. I would argue that the Monster is not a track bike and is intended for the street where there are speed limitations. So a speedometer is absolutely necessary. Title: Re: Can you get aftermarket dash?
