Title: My first track experience
Post by: MendoDave on July 02, 2008, 02:45:24 PM
I have to say that the 2 day Keigwin Novice school was a blast for me. And thanks to Adrian, Steve, Blue and many of the other instructors, I was able to trim my 3:15 lap times down to around 2:30 and the end of the school. The Bike was set up great by Dave Moss and rode like a Cadillac  around the track. The only thing wrong with the old CBR600 That I rode, was that it wasn't a twin.  :'( Well nothing perfect.. [laugh] So now I'm on the trackday hook and I'm going to have to buy more stuff now. So what can I say, it's fun!

where's my Bacon eating smiley?

Good going Dave!

Don, just get your butt out to a Keigwins day.  Why go all the way to Reno on the 12-13 when we're at THill on the 13-14?  Much better track and much closer.

I can't get the time off man :( I'm a weekend warrior :D I've already bought some VIP tickets for Sept in Reno and November I think at T-Hill, it'll be good times and I look forward some personal instruction time!

You need to readjust the front end of your bike. There is absolutely no reason for you to have 3" of fork legs above the top triple! That thing will turn in on its nose if you just think of turning! No good. :P

I know. i know.  Might it be considered a testament to my riding skill that I can keep it up when turning?!  ;D :P :-\
