Title: Dry Clutch Bleed Post by: TresGatos on March 13, 2013, 11:38:03 PM My 08 Hyper (dry clutch with open basket) clutch disengages in about 2 secs with lever pulled.
So I bled it upward then down and the clutch still releases in about 2 secs. I opened bleed valve, squeezed lever, closed valve, released lever (never letting the reservoir get too low) enough times to top off reservoir four times. It still has the same issue. Would an air bubble allow the clutch to operate for such short intervals of time? Should I tie the lever closed overnight as stated in another thread? Also, I saw no leaks or cracks in any lines or fittings; everything seems tight. Any help would be nice.
