Title: GPR Deeptones Post by: Novelo on March 22, 2013, 04:47:56 PM Had my hopes and dreams crushed kind of feeling like I have wasted my hard earned dollars. Wanted an exhaust a bit different and something that wasn't so loud as my current Boom Tubes or at least directed the sound away from my head. Would really have liked to get a single 2-1 pipe with a cat eliminator mid pipe. Kept coming up empty initially bought the carbon version of these but after a 45 day wait got my money back. To bad I really liked these they were packaged well, high quality welds, and the parts were well organized. Everything came with a travel bag pipes and silencers with all the instructions couldn't be happier. Fitment was a PITA only complaint I have other than that was the T-Bolt clamps didnt fit the bottom part of the s pipes they were a bit to large.

Are you saying these are too loud? Even with the silencers? Title: Re: GPR Deeptones Post by: Novelo on March 23, 2013, 08:47:28 AM Oh no the GPR's just look ugly, I also have Boom Tubes they are too loud.
(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v30/Batman50/DMF%20Pictures/DSC02187.jpg) Was also thinking I could find some S pipes or make some to correct the longish look of the GPR's. I found some Arrow S pipes inlet matches 43mm but the outlet for the GPRs is 53mm the Arrows are 50 I might be able to conjure up something we will see when I get the frame and swing arm back from powder. http://www.solomotoparts.com/Arrow-2-2-Stainless-Steel-Mid-Pipe-for-Monster-S4R-S2R-800-03-06/ (http://www.solomotoparts.com/Arrow-2-2-Stainless-Steel-Mid-Pipe-for-Monster-S4R-S2R-800-03-06/) |
