So I was working on the bike which I needed to remove the tank with no problem but when I re-install the tank and tried to connect the quick disconnects, I cut one of the packings (O-Ring) so I call my LBS and they stated that I need to order the whole fuel line since they can't just order the packing???? which cost $56.00 what a rip off!!
Then I ask them if they had the packing's dimension which of course they don't.
The mechanic mentioned that it happens to him one in ten tank removal so I would imagine they must have a part number since I doubt they replace the whole fuel line each time they cut it.
Does anybody know a part number for that packing, I know if I had the dimension or even a part number, I could search it online.
Thanks ahead.
I think these will work.

I think so too.
Ask your dealer for part# 0400.17.030. If they don't have it get them from Chris.
Perfect! Just ordered some.
Thanks :)
Well, received the packing today and they're the wrong size; just a tab smaller than OEM. Guess that I'll be spending $$ for a fuel line.

Did you try them?
No cause its inside diameter is smaller and if I try to install it than the outside diameter would be too small and could cause a leak under pressure/temperature. Didn't want to take a chance of leaking.
