But first I have to think up my turntable for the lift platform so i'm not doing a 20 pt turn to get the bikes in and out. Any ideas? Why not a platform that extends/slides? Kind of like what's on the back of a uhaul. Attach it to the elevator plaform while it's down. Roll the bike on it. Lift the elevator platform. Roll the bike on the truck. Detach the extender/slide and put it in the truck. Simple. Either that or a hinged attachment to the elevator platform itself. (end thread-jack) I like to stare at my 620 and 748 in the garage and think about how much fun it is to ride each of them. They each have their own unique character. I have considered that option and made a proto, but ran into some clearance issues with the lift platform. Also some crazy leverage going on. These are my babies that I am entrusting to this lift. I think it was the first Ducati that I ever saw (at least once I was old enough to recognize what a Ducati was) also had 4 or 5 models of it.
