Title: Motor mount bolts/question
Post by: Rudemouthsky on April 13, 2013, 12:16:23 PM
Take a look at the bolts being sold on eBay. I'm confused...why are there so many different types? some have odd looking sleeves on them...the nuts vary in shape and length. Some have odd tapered sleeves. What the hell? I thought there were only 2 kinds: 10 and 12mm.

I'm installing a 90's engine into an 01 frame. Bite the bullet on Nichols bolts? $200 is quite a wallop. Low mileage OEM are ten bucks. I don't want to be a miser on such an important part, yet I can't imagine Ducati using junk to mount their engines..?

Just use the stockers and spend the $200 on something more important.
