Title: Wire Hiding
Post by: uclabiker06 on April 15, 2013, 01:09:43 AM
I want to hide some wires on my bike (got a sudden urge after removing the side panels).  Feels like this job is beyond me.  Don't know where to begin.  Not really good at electrics.  Any advice?   I'll start by looking at the manual.  Have given up on this before, but I want it pretty bad.   [coffee]

there is a lot of extra length in the wiring harness, and if you have the patients, its actually not too difficult. the connections are almost all color coded, or size specific.

when i got my s2r1k, i stripped the bike down to a frame and motor, and pulled the wiring harness out all the way to the front forks. after that it was trial and error re routing the wiring harness back in while trying to hide it too.

the wiring harness is essentially ALL of the wiring on your bike.
