Don't know if any of you have seen this yet...

Am I posting too much on here? DMF is my first forum experience so I don't really know what flies.

As long as the ugly POS does not say Ducati on it I will have no need to sell mine.  Leave it to Audi to screw up a good thing.

Near as I can tell, that's just an independent designer exercise, not anything from Audi itself.

Typical designer dream, no basis in reality.

I completely agree, but it does bring up the interesting thought that we could see an Audi motorbike in the future.

I knew that Audi had a photocopier with a reduce and enlarge button on it for some of their designs, but I'm not sure if they have one with a remove 2 wheels option.  ;)

Looks somewhat like the Magpul Ronin.

That thing (the Ronin) looks pretty awesome, except it's TINY:

Looks impossible to ride. This thing is a "functional" show bike only.

I once owned a Buell ZB9r.  Ever since I have a theory about bikes with Drive belts as opposed to proper chains They ALL suck!

Why?  (Never owned a belt drive, so just interested).

Yes why? There are plenty of belt drive bikes that get way more mileage than a chain/sprocket setup. My dislike of belt drive is the line red sizes if cogs. You can't easily change the final drive ratio.

In 20,000 miles I snapped my drive belt five times.  Each time I bought the "upgraded" belt and sprockets.  To a total tune of almost $1,500.  All Goodyear belts.  Funny how HD/Buell knew enough about the problems with failed belts to come out with constant upgrades yet charged retail for those that busted.  That XB was hands down the single least reliable motorcycle I ever owned.  Stock headlights melted through the bezels, shorting the stator.  Wires rubbed raw against the frame, shorting the stator.......

Friends don't let friends buy Buells  [bang]

Maybe you just had a lemon. Other Buell owners seem to love their bikes...

I will admit it was a nice motor, easy to tune up!  It handled nice (short as heck wheelbase) and sounded great with the under-slung exhaust.  However it had design issues.  I had a couple of friends break belts on their Buells as well.  It is the only bike I ever owned that left me on the side of the road so many times.

+1

I usually dislike concepts like this, but this one works for me.

I guess I'm the outcast, but I like that design.  Very clean and simple, sharp modern lines, short tail = all things I like.  I would ride that!
