Title: The Ace Cafe London
Post by: sdlrodeo on July 03, 2008, 08:38:41 AM
Hey all you cool cats!!
I was fortunate enough to have some time to check out the ACE CAFE in London, England last week. VERY cool. Tons of nostalgic articles about the Rockers and Mods in 1960s England. There were about 100 bikes there when I left and even more coming in. The band hadn't even started when it was time for beddy-bye. I recomend it to all who go to the UK. I did this instead of spending $150+ to go watch a soggy and (I found out later) rather sparce practice session of the Mallory Park BSB race. Turns out it all worked out for the best. Had a great time.

Would LOVE to check that out!  I'm sitting in Heathrow airport right now doing a 3-hour layover, so no time for enjoyment.  Last time I came through here, I had several hours between flights, and had to transfer between Heathrow and Gatwick, so I took a quick walking tour through downtown London.  This town has a lot of potential.

Oh, BTW, I'm sipping a cool (not cold) John Smith's Original Bitter for brunch  ;D [beer]
