Title: Painting over C/F
Post by: uclabiker06 on April 18, 2013, 08:35:34 PM
My carbon fiber belt covers are starting to look strange.  Looks like a scratch/crack that keeps getting bigger.  From my understanding this is what happens to carbon fiber as time goes by.  I was thinking I'd sand it and paint it aluminum color.  Anyone know of a good spray paint to use? I hear Krylon is the way to go.  Its important that the finish is slick enough so that it can be cleaned easily.  Is there any coating that can be put over paint to make it slick?  Maybe just use a gloss finish and call it even?
