Title: brake line length for 749 master/calipers on an S2R1000?
Post by: superkain on April 21, 2013, 10:09:12 AM
Ok, so I did a search and didn't pull anything up, so I figured I would ask.

I just picked up a 749 master and calipers for my '07 S2R1000. I know this is a pretty popular mod, and hope that someone here has done this and had to order new lines. I'm going to order some from Speigler, I think, and wanted to know if anyone could tell me exactly what lengths, and banjos to order on the lines?

Thanks in advance for any input!

Ill measure for you when I get home. The only problem I have with the 749 masters is the integrated reservoirs and I had to fiddle around with a leaking issue I was having for a little bit.

Do you need the measurements for the 749 OEM lines?

22 inches from master to right side caliper. 18 inches from right side caliper to left and that's on my 749.

Is this mod an improvement?
