Title: Help! Cleaning agent stain on frame and chrome... Post by: Cookie Monster on July 03, 2008, 10:34:34 AM The previous owner cleaned the bike with something that stained the bike trellis and chrome - any ideas for getting it off. It is white-ish drips on the handle bars and it stained my gold (97 750M) trellis with dark drip marks. I tried honda bike cleaner so far it only worked on the shiney gold on the front forks. Bummed, I hope I can get it off with something or ???

Post by: Hedgehog on July 03, 2008, 04:01:58 PM About the only thing I can think of is 3M Rubbing Compound or Polishing Compound; something like that for polishing paint, but not a wax.
