I've got a 09 1100s with the steering dampener on the top triple clamp/ignition area.
It works well and I don't want to remove it or replace it but I want to put on clip ons as the stock bars suck balls, I know the dampener will stick out like dogs bollocks once it's done but I'm not too worried about it looking like that.
Any photos would be nice or link to.
Cheers monster luva's
why not just try different bars?

Now that's why I'm on this forum, for ideas like that. They aren't as low as I'd like but better than what I have [thumbsup]

If I were to go back to handlebars I would rock those beauties. Curious as to why it says they wont fit the 796 though? Bar diameters are the same, the only difference is the coffin reservoirs vs traditional on the 1100 - which doesn't seem would matter at all, so why no 796?
Possibly the different rise. Also possible they do fit, but no one tried.
I've got Woodcraft clip ons with 2" rise on my 09 1100 but its not an S model.
not sure but i think the 696/796 have the 22mm bars and the 1100 have the 28?mm/22mm variable tapered bars
These are the bars of my dreams!! I'm gonna get me some!
(Edit) they say that these will not fit the 796 due to the flyscreen, which is the same as the one on the 1100! It looks like the brake reservoir would interfere, which would be easy to move.

You are obviously not from the Pacific NorthWet!
