Title: M600 left hand switch
Post by: garryc on May 07, 2013, 03:25:27 AM
I have just bought a left hand switch block.
European as it has a lights on/ off switch.
It comes with no wiring plug.
Can anyone tell me what sort of plug I will need to buy and mount into the old wiring loom
thanks

Posted a couple of pics of the new switch.
As can be seen there is an oversupply of wires.
Any suggestions on how to wire up would be appreciated

see if you can download the owners manual with the wiring diagram from that year's euro spec and u.s. spec and compare

also have you just put the wires of the old loom and this one side by side and see if they match up?

If its like the one Chris K sells, they're different.

that doesn't look like an OEM euro switch from Ducati.  I've got one on my bike and it was plug and play with the wires already terminated with a connector block, and looks exactly like my North American switch (lettering fonts).  That could be a generic aftermarket brand.
