The rear on a '99 is 17mm. The front was 20mm. They changed in 2000.

+1 with SpeedDog

2000 models run a 25mm axle.

As a drop in replacement no.

But...............

Virtually anything can be made to fit. It could be made to fit with a shouldered internal spacer. Unfortunately a bearing swap can't be done. Another thing to you would need to look into would be hub width at the disc mounting surfaces.

As luck would have it I have a bare rim sitting in my room if you require any measurements.

OzzyRob,
I'm still struggling here trying to find a suitable replacement front wheel for my '94 900.  I did not purchase the MY 2000 wheel after learning from dealer that the pn I need, 50120141A, was listed from '93 - '99.   I took the following dimension off of damaged wheel. Perhaps we have a match?    20mm axle, distance between rotor mounting faces is 4.136" ( 105mm), and the oil seal O.D. is 2.282" (58mm).  Powder coated black.

OK

Disc mount surfaces measure 105

Non speedo drive side: has no oil seal.

Speedo drive side: OD of where speedo drive fits in is 58mm

Bearing L\R: 6005 25x47x12.

For a 20mm axle the closet bearing you can get is 6204 20x47x14.

The options you have are

1: Have the wheel machined 2mm deeper to take a 6204 bearing.
2: Have a sleeve made with a OD of 25mm and an ID to suit your existing front axle. Length will be 12mm + inner spacer length + 12mm.

I'd run with option 2....Any decent machine shop should be able to do that, just take your wheel and original axle to them.

Or it might even be easier to get one off ebay.

25mm ID for a 20mm axle OD? Doesn't that seem to be a pretty loose tolerance? Being nosy is all.

Funny what you find

SKF 361203R Rubber Sealed Crowned Outer Single Row Cam Roller 17x47x12mm Have same specs as std rollers.

So with a new inner spacer a 2000 M900 would fit.

Tho at £25.45 each  [puke]

That crowned outer race surface won't work.

Right you are, I should have checked the SKF data sheet, I was just going by the vendors blurb.

Thanks for pointing that out  [thumbsup]
