Title: removing charcoal cannister cheat

Some say you need to special order a screw to plug this this hole.... but if youodont want to wait. .. I found a pretty cheap alternative.

Works fine, but they can crack or fall off, particularly if they are the usual less than OEM quality type sold at many auto parts stores.

Or you could get two M5x6 allen bolts and re-use the crush washer that's (hopefully) still on there.

You may have to track down an above-average hardware store to get some.

Those vacuum caps perish fairly quick when they're out in the sun.

It's only a short term cheat. Mainly so I can drive to the auto parts store and buy about 2 feet of hoze and "bridge" the two intakes together. They say it breathes more evenly or something...

That's what I've had on my bike now for 5+ years.

Bought my S2R new and took the canister off in the first few months.  Caps are as good as new.
