OK... here comes my annual post about my close, childhood friend (Price Cobb) that won the 1990 LeMans race in the factory Jag run by Walkinshaw Racing in the UK. Would have given anything to have been there for that! [thumbsup] [bow_down] What a spectacle/event that would be... up all day and night watching the coolest race around.

Makes me want to bust out my Steve McQueen "LeMans" dvd tomorrow after the race. [popcorn]

Fantastic job by Audi, and sad news about Simonsen - I'm actually a bit surprised (and pleased) that it's been such a long stretch between fatalities at 24hrs of LeMans, especially considering some of the wicked, airborne crashes that have happened when some of those cars get the nose up a little.
