Long story short, I was bleeding my rear brakes and replacing the fluid ( it was time to be changed) I noticed that I lost all pressure in the rear brakes after a while. I'm fairly certain I opened the bleeder screw a bit too much and sucked air back into the line. Tried to bleed it for a while longer, still no pressure. Here are my list of questions:
1. Will the air travel all the way back to the abs unit and into it? If so...how do I get it out? ( I still have pressure in my front brakes)
2. Well...really how do I get the air out without buying a might vac? ( Ive been using one of the one way valves that cyclegear sells and its worked well up until today)
3. With the bleeder screw closed if I pump the rear brake I can see tiny bubbles coming up into the reservoir but I dont seem to be getting any better pressure. Thoughts? ( Ive never seen this before thats why I ask)

You rear caliper is mounted on the bottom with the bleeder screw being the lowest part. Not uncommon on bikes. If you are just changing brake fluid, no problem. Bleeding? Big problem since the air will be trapped on top. Either turn the bike upside down [evil] or remove the caliper and place a piece of wood, metal or plastic about the width of the rotor between the brake pads. Turn the caliper so the bleeder screw faces up. Now bleed. It will take a while. The bubbles you see are air.
Took the caliper off and bled it. Got alot of bubbles out, it's not back to where it was before but it's now spongy but functional.
Given the fact it's an abs model, do I have to worry about the bubbles getting into my front brake lines? Or is it still two separate systems?
Separate systems. If at first you don't succeed bleed bleed again. If there is air trapped in the ABS unit bleeding without the correct tools is difficult, but not impossible. Pump slowly several times hold down, open bleeder, close bleeder, wash, rinse repeat.
bought the appropriate wheel nut socket from motowheels. popped the wheel off, bled the brakes again and all is well!! Viiiiictooooorrrrrryyy!!!!

Nothing really. Just more bleeding. The only thing I did different was actually take the wheel off this time. The time before I didnt have the proper socket so I snaked the rear brake out between the tire and fender and it didnt work so well.
