So my fiance rides my evo about a month ago and has not been able to stop wanting a Monster since.  So, we put her Victory Vegas on Cycle-trader about a week ago and got a call a few days ago.  The guy came over to check it out and loved it.  He called back a few hours later and wanted to give us a cash deposit on it.  So he came back by to buy it.   

Now she wants an Artic white 796.  I just feel like such a lucky guy.  Hot wife, loves to ride and now she is going to be riding next to me on a Monster.   ;D ;D ;D

Grrr..... Makes me want to make you spend more money lol.  My gal wants a bike and it terrifies me......

I will admit, the first time she rode without me i was nervous.  She loves to ride and i love that she wants a monster.....just warms my soul.     8)

I know the feeling.  Whatever you do don't get a com-set or you'll be screamed at constantly when providing "tips" for riding. I nearly got divorced.  :-X

I bought my hubby a bike (actually a scooter). He's learning.

Gotta say...I'm a little jealous.  My wife has no intention to ride with me or next to me (unless she's in a sidecar, oddly enough).  Now that we're pregnant, even less.  At least she understands my need to go ride with my buddies, so all is not lost.  But I would love for her to ride with me someday.  Lucky guy indeed.

Yo Dex, I'm buying an M1100 for myself next year or sooner. I'm in CLE and not crazy about my choices in dealers here, I'll buy it from you if you're in sales. Plus for some crazy reason I love Detroit and I never mind an excuse to go there. :)

It's good, in most ways. Bad that she'll end up borrowing your bikes/doubles the investments in toys.

It's good though yeah, there's always nerves when they ride. Same as they have nerves when you ride. Good to see more girls out there riding though.

She is nervous about the whole track thing, but with time and confidence I'm sure she will want to try and beat me at that too!  Competitive spirit!

Sometimes they don't like it when you do, though Stace was genuinely pleased that despite a total of 10 minutes on that bike in 2 years on that particular track, I did manage to finish up a couple of seconds a lap faster than her.

At the last trackday though she was not so happy I've increased the advantage. Made for a frosty drive home :D.

In any case, it comes with it. Stace was a bit nervous about her first trackday but she got there. After a few more we decided she needed a more sustainable bike... I selected something that was also perfect to expand into a race series here, which helps the skills more than just some trackdays imho.
