Hooked up my Ignitech...finally. Bike completely craps out over 4500k. Sputtering and missing. For the life of me I can not find where people are getting their maps from. The only choice for Ducati I see in the V80 software is "Ducati Inj, 48-2".
Thanks....
What map did the unit come with?
The canned map supplied for your motor type should work well. You have stock compression?
My V80 came with a generic map for the stock compression carbed 900 motor. It had 35° max advance and most people like it on a stock motor.
Here's the setup that worked fine on my M750:

Check all of the screengrabs of the pages I've put up.
You may have inadvertently borked one of the the basic settings.
Carefully inspect the trigger wires and connectors, mine were a bit haggard and that caused a bunch of grief.
My wiring is certainly not in good condition...hopefully I can address that where they meet the igniters and take care of it.
Currently struggling to even connect with my serial to USB cable...does the bike have to be actually running to communicate with the ignitech?
Thanks a lot...
Just the ignition on.
How's it going?
The Ignitech talking to your laptop yet?
Nope..still the; "no connection to PC" in red. Windows 7 says; "driver installation unsuccessful" when plugging it in. This was a super cheap ebay plug, didn't come with software. I'm going to attempt to DL a Logitech driver and see if that works. Strange that those Czechs used 80's technology when they built this box.
Thanks Koko
when you're trying to connect, you need to go thru every port option you have in sequence until you find the one that works ime.
