Title: Monster furniture!
Post by: Rudemouthsky on July 10, 2013, 03:17:27 PM
Let's see pics of your Monsters indoors. If I ever become single again, my Monster is living in my apt with me. IMO nothing looks better than a bachelor or bachelorette pad with a big screen plasma, a sectional, area rug, nice artwork and skate decks on the walls, and a motorcycle to tie it all together.

That's why men build garages

Maybe a walk out basement would suffice. I like my bike to live where I live, a garages are for lawnmowers.

Sheds are for lawn mowers. Garages are for powerful toys, beer, oil, and gasoline.

Stop it! You guys are talking me out of getting married and into buying a loft/condo. (My woman sez "NO MONSTERS ALLOWED INSIDE!!")

They obviously belong in there from the looks of these pics.

Here's Molly.  I hadn't converted my carport into a garage yet, and after someone cut my rear brake line, I decided it was time to store her inside.

Not a Monster...  But, this is my TS185.  Yes, I rebuild the motor in my dining room one winter.

And a much younger me mid rebuild.

My monster lives in a Garage that looks Texas Chain Saw Massacre creepy. It guarded by 100's of attack spiders.

No idea, it was on it when I bought it used.  I was a foam material like neoprene and didn't last long either.

I wish! I've about got my wife to give into me building a garage out back. Now to come up with the money.

When I lived in Chattanooga I would put my ratty Vespa in the kitchen. then again I was single and didn't mind the smell of 2 stroke and grease.

If your women says no to your Monster in the house then you say no to the potpourri and scented candles!

You might want to think about using a rear stand, or both front and rear, instead of just the front.

I'm guessing you've never seen one fall off a front stand.

Surprisingly, it's quite sturdy but after hearing that, I'm definitely gonna slap the rear
stand on also. ;)

I've contemplated bringing the bikes in the house to work on them because it's 100 degrees outside and probably 120 in the garage.

...but I don't want to deal with my girlfriend's reaction.

After battling cancer last year, my wife *almost* let me buy a 916 to park inside, like a museum piece... little accent lights and a data placard and all.  If it comes back, she's agreed to let me buy the Bimota DB5R that's for sale at MotoCorsa right now and put it on display.  ;)

Stumbled upon a guy who blogs specifically about unconventional bohemian living in warehouses. This was how the "loft" craze began, by starving artists who were then gentrified out of their own creations when yuppies realized how cool of an idea it was. I think this is an old Honda Dream

Bed from 996 parts.  Would be great if the exhausts were reading lights.  Overall, very cool but I don't think the first time one of my lady friends sees this it's going to help get her in the mood.  Actually, probably will send her running for the door, as it might be interpreted as some weird BDSM torture device.
