Pretty fake drama, but I can't help but watch anything with motorcycles.

Scripted drama, tight deadlines, no profits.
But the bikes are cool [popcorn]

I love the no profit thing...I'm local, I'l have to bring them a bike and see if they'll do that for me too.  :D

I wonder if they take philly cheese steaks in lieu of payments

I watched the shorts.  that's just unwatchable.  does that shop really exist?

5 guys putting a front end back in?  no wonder people think we're morons.

I think that guy is dramatic by himself.  I'm not so sure it's scripted.  Anyway, I've set the dvr to record it.

yeah, he's a fruit loop of the exact flavour desired by reality tv producers.  unstable, exaggerating, demanding, delusional, dramatic, etc.

I'm watching. Looks like there's some added drama, but the personalities seem real.

I work with a couple of SW engineers like that. We should do a reality show!

I've watched all three episodes and I like it, but I've taken bikes to crusty guys that hold onto them for 6 months without working on them before and it sucks if you're the customer.

Make as much fun of the guy as ya want.  Truth is he is getting a big paycheck and he may be just savvy enough to know what reality TV producers like.

I once called Ripleys Believe it or Not and got a paying gig a day later.  It is all about knowing your market and "fruitloop" is getting paid!

oh absolutely, he's possibly a producer himself.

I just can't watch that kind of dramatic crap tho, as i'm sure builders can't watch the home reno reality shows as you know it's all rubbish.  it's a pity that this sort of stuff has a market, but a show with the same people and real info without the dramatic crap doesn't.

all reality tv centres on conflict more than anything else.  just change the environment, but it's all based on making people clash.

Except for Wheeler Dealers, also on Velocity. It is a breath of fresh air, real cars being refurb end realistically. Now if they would only do that formula with motorcycles!

I'm not a cable subscriber, usually finding what I want online. But not this show...what gives?
I've only found ep1
