Title: Crashed on my monster... what to do with tank??

hi guys... today a crashed a little my monster 620... bars hit the tank and there is depression now... I do not have plastic tank... do you think it can be pushed back?? will send photo later..

I'm from slovakia... so it is not good idea to send it to ducpainter...

you could find another one.

or take it to a local shop. it's just metal any great bodyshop could work on it

you have a lot more going on there than just the tank though

you need to check your frame at the steering head for any damage to the welds, etc.

I checked everything.. I crashed when I was riding at 30kmh... I have damaged right set-mount, bars, tank and sidemirror.. nothing else.. so do you guys think the tank can be repaired??

That tank can be repaired.

Don't let them drill holes to pull the dent.

They need to use a stud welder...

The hinge should be reinforced, and the tank coated with POR-15 after the repair. That was a hard enough hit to cause a hinge leak...either right away or in the future.

thank you very much.. I will check hinge if it is moved... I've just found a guy who can do it..

You can't see if the hinge has moved.

The spot welds crack. Just do the reinforcement and the coating. The coating should be done regardless to avoid rust issues from the stud welding alone.

I'm not saying this to make anyone money...just do it.  ;)
