Title: Frame plugs installed
Post by: DexterMorgan on July 18, 2013, 12:55:35 PM
The open holes in the frame have bugged me.  Small mod but big improvement IMO.

They are nice,   :).   Im not a big fan of the branding.  I like the more jewelry like Desmoworld plugs.

sorry to be negative, those are one of the many add on I would like to do. Just seems too my eyes that some manufactures are putting lot of larger branding all over there cool stuff. i'm looking to finally open my dry clutch and have been put by some stuff,

The EVR pic stands out to me.

Another matter of personal preference. Myself, I like them.  [thumbsup]
Now you can consider replacing the frame and seat cowl screws.

I'm partial to DucaBike and made them using their plugs.

For the seat cowl look for a thread labeled "Seat Cowl Fastener Bling" dated April 4 in this forum.

The frame plug is much more complicated. I used a plug sized for the Diavel and expended several hours on a mill and lathe. The stock bolt is modified and the Duca plug was then modified to be a cover. Net effect is the same appearance as a plug.

Desmoworld has cool stuff, but you have to order straight from Germany, I have a shipment of frame plugs and clutch parts arriving soon
