I wonder if Checa is feeling better, if Ducati has made an improvement, or if the old guy can just read new tracks better?

I find it interesting that Checa's recorded trap speed was faster on the slower laptime progression in FP1

I think this will be a telling race for Ducati...1st race with the intake restrictors removed. Looking hopeful so far.

Sykes crashed on his out lap in Superpole 3.

It will be interesting to see what Sykes can do in the race.

He was .5 faster than anyone through SP2 on a race tire.

RIP Antonelli.  :'(  He was hit by another rider (poor visibility due to rain) after going down on the straight. Terrible accident.
