Mine was about $600 and thats with new tires. Formula One in Oakdale wow.. thats a huge difference. Up here in the in the north east, it seems 1 grand is the average. Thats why i started the poll. Im sure otheres will be looking for "what to expect".. maybe this will help set the expectation before hand. I know I had to save one season ahead of time in anticipation of that 1200 dollar hit. I aint rich. Title: Re: What did you pay for your 7500 maintenance? Post by: Chucko9-696 on August 04, 2013, 03:40:51 PM Im on Long Island [drink]

Title: Re: What did you pay for your 7500 maintenance? Post by: sgollapalle on August 06, 2013, 07:33:19 AM I have a '11 696.
The tires are about half way thru. Hoping I'll get another 2500mi out of them, I won't have to change those hopefully for another year. The Angels on the 696 definitely last longer than the Rossos.. I just got the front rotors changed, as they were warped (got done under warranty [drink]) so I won't need those. The pads, both, are about half way thru as well. Probably will need these and tires at the end of next season. I've been doing the oil change myself. So that will get done at the end of October, before it goes into winter hibernation. What else goes into the 7500mi service that takes it over $1k? Title: Re: What did you pay for your 7500 maintenance? Post by: shamoo on August 06, 2013, 10:45:35 AM EDIT: Almost forgot to mention. I have a 2012 796 ABS.
The prices vary depending on what type of service you need. For example, did you have them do an oil change too? Were the brakes replaced? Chain replaced? Also, did you go to the dealer? Dealer charges are much higher. 1st service @ ~7500 miles - $450 or so. I did have him do the oil change, which was another $85 or so. Then your regular valve adjustment, chain tension, fluids, etc. 2nd service @ ~15000 miles - $650 or so. New chain. Then your regular valve adjustment, chain tension, fluids, etc. 3rd service @ ~22500 miles - $760 or so. New brakes. ECU reflash. Then your regular valve adjustment, chain tension, fluids, etc. It appears I could get it down to $360 or so if I were just to do the valve adjustment/fluids refresh. My last service, I spoke to my guy and looks like I can probably stretch it to 10K miles. I didn't do each one at 7500. I waited till about 8500 or so each time. I'm at near 25K miles right now in a years time. :P Dealer's first 7500 mile service was quoted to me @ ~$800. |
